Bhairavi (telugu: పటలాభారి) is a 1981 Indian Telugu-language film directed by Chittor V. Nagaiah, produced by D. V. Narayana and T. N. Seetarama Sastry under the K. S. Nataraj film banner and presented by Annapurna Pictures, starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Sowcar Janaki, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Rao Gopal Rao, Sriranjani and Rao Gopal Rao in the lead roles. It is the remake of the Hindi film Dushman (1981). The film was recorded as a block-busting hit and went on to win the 1981 Filmfare Best Telugu Film Award. The movie was also the first to be awarded the same award in 1981 with the one film winning both the Best Film and Best Director for Nagaiah. The song "Saathiya" from the movie is believed to be the most influential song of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, which popularized his expressive performance style. The song is recognized as one of the iconic songs in Telugu cinema. The film marked the Telugu debut of actor/director Sriranjani.
